Mega Relief by the Numbers
From the moment hurricanes Harvey and Irma made landfall, the Keller Williams family has come together with a united vision: providing immediate relief to those impacted.
On Tuesday, September 12th, Mega Relief, a weeklong disaster relief campaign started by Keller Williams Realty, kicked off in Austin. Through the sweltering Texas heat, thousands of associates showed up and the work began. They came with helping hands and open hearts, eager to help.
“Putting people before profit,” said John Davis, the CEO of Keller Williams Realty, “it’s just what we do. It’s our culture.”
From mobilizing clean-up kits and care packages to de-mucking homes around Austin and Houston, KW agents took strides in making an enormous difference.
To date, more than 3,500 Keller Williams agents have volunteered and roughly 330 KW families have received assistance in cleaning up their homes. Though the recovery is ongoing and will be for some time, the Keller Williams family is committed across Texas and Florida to continue the relief effort. Mega Relief was a success in every way; here is a recap of the numbers.
